About Me
Nashley Banister, MS
I was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina where I trained in classical ballet. I received my bachelor's in fine arts from East Carolina University where I graduated Magna Cum Laude in the Honors College, presenting undergraduate research in subjects of kinesiology, injury prevention, and yoga practice with dancers.
I studied in Pittsburgh, Chicago, and San Francisco before formally starting my performance career in Chicago. While dancing with the company, I spent time teaching, choreographing, and personal training.
After meeting my husband, I left Chicago and moved to Houston, TX where I earned my Masters in Nutrition science. During this time I continued personal training and worked with a private practive in nutrition counseling. This is where I found my passion to help others and was introduced to Crossfit.
We have relocated again and now call Boulder, CO our home. I have a holistic view of overall wellness, focusing on nutrition and food but also exercise, sleep and hydration to build the best long-term habits. I commit myself to being healthy but also to being fit- and I want to work with others on their aspirations.
I want to be a part of whatever I have the opportunity to try; most days that is supporting other people, doing a metcon at the crossfit gym, jogging, playing with the dogs, gardening or even going on a bike ride. This is what fills my cup.
