Sipping Bone Broth

As we move into the heart of the holiday season, I first want to say how thankful I am for each of you. This time of year is full of celebration, family, memories—and yes, a little extra chaos too! I encourage you to keep your focus on the lifestyle habits that make you feel good, give you energy, and support your long-term health. December is not the month to chase dramatic changes in body composition. Simply maintaining your progress through the holidays is a huge win—and one worth celebrating.

I’m also so excited to share that I am officially back from maternity leave and easing back into client care! This season has been incredibly special for me, and I can’t wait to reconnect with you, support your goals, and continue the work we’ve started together. If you’re ready for your next follow-up consultation, now is the perfect time to reach out and get on the schedule. Let’s set you up for a strong, confident start to the new year.

A Cozy Protein Boost for Winter: Sippable Bone Broth

For those of you in colder climates (or just craving all the cozy vibes), I’ve been loving one-handed, sippable bone broth as an easy way to boost protein and stay warm. One cup of bone broth provides about 10g of protein, making it a perfect nourishing addition during busy winter days. With a few extra spices, it also becomes an antioxidant- and immune-boosting powerhouse.

Here’s my current favorite holiday-inspired recipe:

Spiced Sipping Bone Broth (Chicken-Based)You’ll need:

  • High-quality olive oil

  • Fresh ginger root

  • Fresh turmeric root

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • Fish sauce

  • Sea salt

  • Brown sugar

  • 2 cups chicken bone broth

Directions:

  1. Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil over medium heat in a saucepan or skillet.

  2. Add 2.5 Tbsp freshly grated ginger and sauté for 1 minute.

  3. Stir in 1 Tbsp freshly grated turmeric and cook for another minute.

  4. Add 2 cups bone broth and increase heat to bring to a boil.

  5. Reduce to low heat and add:

    • 1 cinnamon stick

    • 1 Tbsp fish sauce

    • 1 Tbsp brown sugar

    • ½ tsp sea salt

  6. Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.

  7. Strain, pour into your favorite holiday mug, and enjoy ☕️
